A 30 min mixtape of new microtonal / xenharmonic instrumental electronic tracks, recorded between April and August 2023.

Featuring mostly remixed or alternate versions of various tracks from recent Spotify singles and EPs etc and otherwise unreleased stuff. Genre wise it is a mostly mellow and laid back listen and flows from ambient to drum and bass via lofi instrumental hip hop, electronica, dub etc. If you are new to it, microtonal music basically uses tones in intervals that differ from the standard semitones of a tuning system or scale.

Fans of Boards Of Canada, Four Tet, Rei Harakami, Aphex Twin, DJ Shadow, Susumu Yokota, Cornelius, David Holmes etc might enjoy this one.

These tracks are all microtonal compositions which I wrote using the incredible and inspiring new tuning software created by Oddsound and Richard D James of Aphex Twin.
